Notepad
+ + - a text editor (Notepad replacement), with syntax support for many
programming languages, running on the operating system MS Windows. This
project is based on the component Scintilla (a very powerful editor
component), written in C + + with pure Win32 API and STL (that ensures
the higher execution speed and smaller program size), distributed under
the GPL.
The main features of Notepad + +: • Highlighting and the possibility of folding units, according to the syntax of a programming language; • WYSIWYG (print and you get what you see on the screen); • User Defined Syntax Highlighting; • Auto-completion of typed words; • Working with multiple documents; • Simultaneous viewing of multiple documents; • Regular Expression Search / Replace; • Full support for pulling parts of the text; • Dynamic position of Views; • Automatic detection of file status; • Increase or decrease; • Support for many languages; • Notes; • Allocation of brackets when editing text; • Macro recording and playback performance.
New features and enhancement in release 6: PCRE (Perl Compatible Regular Expressions) is supported. Add Document Map feature (via Menu View-> Document Map). Enhance the loading performance for the large file.
